We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Walton Christian Church a great one!

What can I expect?
How long is a WCC service?
In total, a WCC service is about 45 minutes in length. Services begin with our band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.
After the music portion of service is complete, a speaker will share an encouraging and relevant message rooted in Jesus.
After the message, we experience communion (partake of bread/juice that represents body/blood of Christ) together. We believe doing so draws us closer to Christ and each other. And it's your decision to make (whether to partake of bread/juice) as the WCC's Communion Table is available to anyone. If you choose not to partake, it's okay. Use the time to relax and ponder life beyond yourself.
The service closes out with a song. And after the service closes out, there's an opportunity (10 minutes) to pray with someone if you desire.
What's the culture like at WCC?
We strive to extend great hospitality to everyone who comes through the doors on a Sunday morning, especially folks who are guests and new to WCC. There's great coffee (Nicaraguan), snacks, and conversation (in WCC's Family Room) surrounding the service. Don't worry about a dress code (wear what's comfortable).
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at WCC Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our WCC Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the WCC Kids experience.
